This is the holiday i have chosen for several reasons. Travel Agents have estimated that this could be one of the biggest holidays of 2010. There are a few people that do not research a country they are going to at all, so this should help out a bit. So I would like to help shed some light by giving the Pros and Cons of this country as a holiday location!
So we will start off with those all important Pros, what are the good points to going on holiday in Sri Lanka? Well first and foremost it is cheap. Now although it will cost a fair bit for you to actually to get to Sri Lanka, costs over there are very low. The great thing about Sri Lanka is quite simply the hotels. You will be treated like a king, great room service at all hotels, and at most you will have great day spa facilities. There is also a lovely chance for you to indulge in a safari, the majority of the time people like to explore this country, and this activity allows you to do this. If you want to try and experience a great time of adventure then this is great for you, safaris are available all year round in the jungles and rain forests of Sri lanka. There is a lot of ways for people to enjoy themselves on holiday in Sri Lanka.
This isn’t a holiday without any down falls, there are a few things that you may want to know about it. The weather is one of the main reasons that would put you off from heading out to this glorious and beautiful location. The rain is truly immense. However some down’t mind the rain, the only problem is that this isn’t the nly annoying thing about Sri Lanka. This is a very poor country, and it is still torn by civil war, which you really don’t want to get caught up in. Just make sure that you don’t enter the forests without a guide or a tour, it is important to make sure someone is with you at all times. Then there is the injections that you need to prevent yourself from obtaining any nasty illnesses, now this is the worst for me!
Sri Lanka holidays have become very popular, but if you want something more relaxing and less dangerous, you should try Maldives holidays or Caribbean holidays!
