As the summer holidays approach, all of my friends keep discussing where they are going for this year’s getaway. I have friends going to France, Spain and Turkey, though I remain insistent that there is no better summer holiday than to Corsica. Corsica became one of my favourite islands after I spent last year’s summer holiday there. When I visited, the weather was outstanding. Even the sea temperature was warm which was really unusual but great for swimming. Corsica is undoubtedly France’s best kept secret. During my holiday in Corsica, I managed to undertake a number of activities including snorkelling, swimming, hiking and… eating. The holiday villas in Corsica are beautiful. There were plenty of attractive villas located within the mountains and several more luxurious looking beach side villas too. Ultimately after looking at romantic holidays in Turkey me and my partner were sold on Corsica as we managed to find a really good online deal. Once you Google images of Corsica online, you’re instantly sold.

The villa we booked was stunning. The villa was elegantly poised in the mountainside and we had access to what felt like our own waterfall and rock pool. Though we were in the mountains, it was on a short walkway to reach the closest village. The area felt very friendly. The villa really had no expense spared and there were high end appliances and gadgets everywhere. There was a very spacious lounge with a wall mounted plasma screen and a great entertainment Blu Ray machine with surround sound . For anyone thinking about paying extra for really goodaccommodationI’d strongly consider Simpson luxury villas. The more I describe it, the more I want to return to Corsica!
